Dr. Xuan received his post-doctoral training in urologic clinics in the First Affiliated Hospital, Sun Yat-sen University. As the head of department of urology and andrology in National Assisted Reproduction and Eugenic Technology Center affiliated to Shandong University, he used to be the academic leader of the first Top 10 Andrology Clinics program in China.
On top of that, Dr. Xuan holds many other honors and titles, including the Honorary President of Sexual Dysfunction Restoration Committee of Guangdong Rehabilitation Medicine Society, the chairman of Male Urology Committee and the Chairman of Reproductive Medicine Committee of Shandong Laser Medicine Society, the Standing Committee Member of Andrology Committee of China Sex Medicine Society and the director of Jinan Mayo Clinic-Precise Medical Research Center in Shandong.
Prof. Xuan has been working in male urology and reproduction for about 30 years and is skilled in diagnosis and treatment of male urological and reproductive diseases such as male infertility, male sexual dysfunction, rare and difficult andrological diseases. He proposed, for the first time in the world, using CDFI to assist ED grading diagnosis and treatment. In China, he is the pioneer in executing complicated penile prosthesis implantation after severe pelvic fracture, urethral rupture and spinal cord injury. Other techniques that Dr. Xuan is proficient in include transurethral decompression electrocision to treat ejaculatory duct obstruction and prostatic utricle cyst, microanastomosis and percutaneous epididymal sperm aspiration to treat obstructive azoospermia, correction of congenital deformity of male reproductive system, diagnosis and treatment of prostatic diseases, tumor and injury of genitourinary system.
