Standardizing international standards and improving the quality of management services - China Resources Group JCI Hospital Management Research Institute visited our school
On the morning of October 15, Ms. Li Zhong, President of JCI-CRHG Academy of Hospital Management was invited to lecture on JCI. The lecture was welcomed and joined by Vice President Zhang Changhua, Director Zheng Zhihua of the Department of Nephrology and Rheumatology, Director of General Surgery Tang Di, and numerous clinical faculties.
JCI is a subsidiary body of the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) for the certification of medical institutions outside the United States. The JCI criteria is a worldwide recognized, representing the highest level of hospital services and hospital management, and is also recognized by the World Health Organization. Its philosophy is to achieve the optimized standards, patient-centeredness, and establish appropriate policies, systems and procedures to encourage continuous quality improvement and conform to local culture. At present, JCI certification is gaining ground in China's third-party evaluation system.
Vice President Zhang Changhua gave some opening remarks before the lecture. It is an important part of the hospital to engage in continuous improvement. Integrating the JCI concept into daily medical care and management work not only guarantees the safety of patients, improves the quality of medical services, and hospital management, but also plays an important role in enhancing the international image of our hospital.
Ms. Li Zhong gave a keynote speech on “JCI-based medical quality and patient safety improvement, introducing the core content of JCI certification concept, organization setting, as well as the core team of project implementation. Combined with her some ten years of quality, safety and management experience, she shared the key and difficult problems commonly seen in hospital management, and had in-depth exchanges and discussions with the attendees of the lecture.
Our hospital attaches great importance to hospital culture building. It will actively introduce and participate in the certification of relevant qualifications as international hospitals, continuously improving the management level of hospitals in an effort to provide high-quality medical services for patients.
