ANDROLOGY CENTER
Andrology Center focuses on studying the structure and functionality of male reproductive and urinary system with fundamental and clinical researches combined. We aim to build up the first-class research-oriented andrology clinical department and laboratory.?
As being located in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, we work collaboratively with State-level Regional Health Center, Public Health and Natural Disaster Relief Center and State-level Rehabilitation Center. Therefore, we are able to diagnose various male urinary and fertility diseases with great confidence and provide the patients with the best medical treatment as possible, which include male infertility, eugenic practice, sexual dysfunction, prostatic diseases, congenital abnormality of male reproductive system, tumor of male reproductive system, varicocele, hydrocele, Peyronie's disease, partial androgen deficiency syndrome in elderly men, sex transmitted disease and epididymal diseases. To diagnose and treat erectile dysfunction (ED), we employ color Doppler flow image (CDFI), sacral sensory evoked potential (SSEP) and implantation of various kinds of prosthesis. For ejaculation dysfunction, we recommend biofeedback therapy with or without associated drugs.
We also pay great effort to studying male sexual psychology and treatment of ED with enhanced external counterpulsation (EECP). Our capacity of treating male infertility and ED is in a leading position across the state in particular, and we are invited by multiple Grade-A Class-3 Hospital to conduct blood flow examination of cavernosa under different penis hardness and implantation of three-piece inflatable penile prosthesis. Our researches and clinical achievements are indexed and published on Journal of Sexual Medicine, Asian Journal of Andrology, Urologia Internationalis and Chinese Medical Journal.
Our center is well equipped with a full range of state-of-the-art facilities, including outpatient clinic room and patient ward, clinic room for male sexual dysfunction, EECP Room, SSEP room, room for health care of elderly men, clinic for foreskin disease prevention of young adults, education center for sexual harmony and laboratory of andrology.
