Recent years have witnessed a significant rise in prevalence of fertility disorders. Aiming to providing quality healthcare for more patients of infertility, the 7th Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University opened its Reproductive Medicine Research Centre here in 2018.
The items currently available for diagnostic and treatment services include infertility from tubal factors, ovulation problems, female endocrine factors, irregular menses, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), male infertility from oligospermia, azoospermia, or immotile spermatozoa, testicular biopsy, ovulation monitoring, test-tube baby (IVT-ET), Intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), Artificial Fertilization (IUI &AID), Fallopian Tube Recanalisation—fluid-based, Pathological biopsy on endometrium, checkup or management with hysteroscope or celioscope, female hormone assays, semen routine and chromosome analyses etc.
